BOILER INSPECTION WING

Boiler Inspection Wing works under the admirative control Director General, IPWM, Punjab which comes under Industries, Commerce, Investment & Skills Development Department, Government of the Punjab. Boiler inspection Wing is responsible for registration of boilers and pressure vessels.

It performs it functions in accordance with the provisions of Boilers & Pressure Vessels Ordinance, 2002, Pakistan Boiler Rules, 2009, Punjab Boilers & Pressure Vessels Regulations 2018 and Pakistan Boilers Regulations 1951.

The prime function of Boiler Inspection Wing is ensured public safety (human life and property) throughstringent inspections of Boilers Inspection Wing and pressure vessels both at the time of first registration and subsequent renewal of registration certificates inspections. The safe and efficient operation of the boilers is the responsibility of the boiler engineers employed thereof.
